Welcome to the School Counseling

Purpose

At North Star Elementary, the Counseling Program reflects the Ysleta ISD vision of preparing all students to become productive, ethical citizens who are ready for success in life and beyond. I believe every child has the potential to shine brightly, and I am dedicated to helping each student discover their strengths, build resilience, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Through a comprehensive and caring approach, my counseling program supports students academically, socially, and emotionally. I provide a safe space where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to set and achieve meaningful goals.

In alignment with Ysleta ISD’s mission, my counseling program works to ensure all students have equitable access to opportunities that promote academic growth, career readiness, and personal well-being. By helping students gain confidence, develop positive relationships, and overcome challenges, we prepare them to thrive in school and in life.
